Heather walked along side of the river, peering as far as she could in the distance. She had been doing this for almost an hour now. She had hoped to find a water bender to teach her. What better place to look for a water bender, than by water. She sighed with doubt. 'But all the proffesional water benders would have a pouch or something to keep water in,' she thought. She sat down and bended some water over her aching feet. She didn't even take off her shoes. Of course, it didn't matter because she could just bend the water back out of them later. She really did mind it anyway. The cool water felt good as it seeped through the thick cloth.

( (I'm going to use the same one I did for Practice Roleplay 2, cause it seems to fit. ^.^) )
Katsumiyo let her legs go as fast as they could, wherever they would go. As long as she could get away from that terrifying teahouse, it didn't matter where she went. Stopping at a tree nearby a river, she leaned her back against it and slid to the ground, panting heavily. Sweat was beginning to drip down her face, causing the white make-up covering her face and neck to slowly trickle off with the beads of sweat. She let out an involuntary sob and hugged her knees, pressing her eyelids against her knees. Everything she owned was at that teahouse. All she had with her ws a pouch over several hundred gold pieces. It would last her a year, maybe, but she was going to be gone much longer than that. Beginning to relax, she sighed wistfully and stood up, pulling up the bottom of her kimono and walking towards the river, walking in the cooling water up to her mid-calves.

Heather looked up as she heard footsteps. She turned and saw a woman (girl I don't know what age she is) walk into the water. She stood and walked to the water's edge. "Hi," she greeted nervously. She was always a little shy around people at first. Oh how she hoped this would be her first friend out in the real world. She hadn't been traveling that long.

( (She's 15. ^_^) )
Katsumiyo's head quickly utrned in the direction of the girl whom had called out to her. She sighed in relief when she saw it wasn't a girl she knew. Walking out of the river and shaking off her legs before releasing her kimono, she smiled a bit at the girl.
"Hello. Um, what are you doing out here? I didn't think that many people would be out in the forest in the middle of nowhere." Katsumiyo asked, gazing directly into the girl's eyes. She had been taught at the teahouse that direct eye contact showed that one was paying attention and completely engulfed in what the other was saying.

Heather rubbed the back of her head and laughed nervously. "Actually, I really have no idea where I am." She looked at the water dripping from the older girl. "Do you want me to help you dry off?" she asked.

"Oh, yes! That would be very helpful." Katsumiyo laughed airily, feeling the water on her legs causing her legs to stick to her kimono. "My name is Kingyosou Katsumiyo. You can call me whatever you like, but that's my name. What about you?"

Heather moved her hand with a look of concentration on her face as she pulled the water off of her legs and her kimono. She then dropped it back into the river. "There," she said satisfactorily. "My name's Heather. Heather Lorali. Nice to meet you Katsumiyo."

Katsumiyo's heart skipped a beat when she watched the water float off of her kimono. It wasn't something she had seen before. However, she had been taught about the four different nations and elements. Still, it was amazing to see bending first hand.
"That was amazing! How do you do that?" Katsumiyo happily asked, clapping her hands together childishly in excitement.

Leia rubbed her feet in the water, and sighed in delight. After her feet were good and wet,she decieded to get her body moving with swimming. She dove in the water, not caring if she got wet,or that her clothes would never be the same,or that they would shrink. She swam out into the middle of the river, and started to swim downstream when she saw 2 girls. She swam out to them, and stood up when the water was to her waist. "Sorry to barge in like this, but my name is Leia. What's yours?" Leia said quickly. She wasan't really paying attention because she was quickly waterbending the water off her blue blouse.

Katsumiyo squealed and clapped her hands again.
"You guys are waterbenders!!" SHe said, smiling brightly. "That's amazing! I've never met one! Oh, and my name is Kingyosou Katsumiyo. Nice to meet you!"

Heather laughed as the older girl acted so excited to see her bending. She blushed lightly. "I'm not really that good. I'm only a beginner." She then heard another girl call out to them. She waved to her and gasped as she saw her bend the water off herself. At the same time as Katsumiyo, she gasped, "Your a water bender!" She ran off into the water, all evidence of her shyness dissapeared. "Hi! I'm Heather! So you're a water bender? Me too! How good are you? How much do you know? Could you teach me anything?"

((I'm cool. I think?.....))
Leia cringed as the girl squeled, and then lifted her head up at a girl squeling her head off at her. "Uh.I'll answer your questions in order first. 1.yes,i am indeed a water bender. 2.I'm really good, even for Master Paku. 3. I could teach you,but I really don't do a very good job at it. 4.and hello Heather." Leia said shyly. Geez, what's with everybody today? Have they all gone nuts?

Pausing a moment to watch Heather, Katsumiyo giggled at the girl's sudden burst of emotion. Even though she had just run away from the teahouse, things were already starting to look better for her. Plopping down on the ground where she had stood, she smiled and said, "My name is Katsumiyo, if you were wondering."
