Following closely, she paced her breathing. "I'll trust you. This time anyway." She said, putting another arrow in her bow. She trusted him, that didn't mean she wasn't scared out of her mind though.

"Put that bow up or he....... Well, you really don't want to find out. He doesn't like weapons." Kier reached a door that seemed to be a natural part of the tree and he knocked on it.

Giving him a confused look but slowly put the bow down. "It doesn't go away." She muttered. Constantly switching her weight from one leg to the other she waited impatiantly.

"What doesn't go away? The bow?" Kier asked in interest waiting for his friend to answer the door.

"Yes the bow!" She hissed back, tightening her grip. She kept turning her foot. Moving the dirt around while waiting.

The door opened sudenly. "Come in, come in, I'm in the library."
Yes, that was Elhrinn all right, as impatient as ever, very unusual for an elf. "Come on." Kier said smiling at her, "He won't bite. He doesn't like to change to do it." He hoped he was reassuring her and he led the way into the tree.

She smiled as she followed him. He may have been doing a bad job at reasurring her but the attempt were there. Here eyes seemed to just move around to find the starngest things inside the tree. Things she'd never imanged existed.

Kier walked across the main entryway, to an open flight of stairs, to the bottom and through an open door to the right. The library was large. Books filled every inch of the shelves that covered the walls and the few bookcases that stood in front of the door as a sort of privacy wall for those sitting in armchairs on the other side....

"Whoa" She whispered as she looked at the books. 'Tanee would love it here, there'd just be so much for him to read.' Following Kier, her eyes looked at the covers of the books. This was triple the size of their tiny library.

Kier entered the area of the library that held the armchairs for sitting with a book, they were just the right size for you to curl up in with your head on the armrest.
The first person to be seen was an Elrhinn. His skin was dark and his hair hung in a long white mane down his back. He smiled at the sight of Kier as did the woman seated across from him. The woman Kier knew as Kittawatte, in service to the mooneagle. Nothing was remarkable about her except the silver of her eyes and her large wings that were white with a silver fish-bone pattern. Kier bowed. "Greetings Elrhinn. If I had known you already had company I would have waited to visit." He turned to the woman. "Greetings Kittawatte, It is an unexpected pleasure."
A smile split the elf's face. "I'm sure Kittawatte does not mind, just as this one does not. Welcome to this one's home." The smile spread to his violet , slit-pupiled eyes.

Ara manged to smile slightly despite the fact she was scared. Somehow she'd manged to get closer to Kier and gripping her bow tighter. She'd never seen anyone like them before. Her brother once told her the elves in this forest ate girls who were good at the bow and arrow. She knew it was silly but somehow her childhood fear had come back to her.

"Who is this you have with you my friend?" Elrhinn asked Kier. Kier shook his head looking back at Ara. "Come on Ara, no one is going to hurt you. Elrhinn, I would like you to meet Ara, Ara, This is Elrhinn." Finished with the introductions he added excitedly, "She's human."
Elrhinn's eyes widened slightly, "Well now, It's been a while since any of your kind has ventured into these woods, and longer yet since this one has seen any of you. Tell me, my dear, How goes your human world?" Elrhinn was polite as ever and seemed to be trying to make Ara relax. He knew some of the stories that were told to the human children.

Bowing slightly, Ara seemed to let her nervous still about. "Please to meet you Elrhinn." Smiling, she let her bow fall a good bit before going on. "It is fine. A few wars here and that but nothing big. You have a lovely home here." She said, smiling as she looked around again.

"Thank you, It took this one two centuries to finish it." He smiled warmly. "Have a seat, both of you, and tell this one why you have come to visit him in such uncommon company Al'ankeiron." Kier picked the chair next to Elrhinn and sunk into it with a sigh leaving the one across from him next to Kittawatte open.

Sitting down Kittawatte, Ara smiled lightly. She sat very still but had put her bow away. Looking back at Kier, she stayed very still. 'I hope he knows where the stone is. Well, at least I'll have a few good stories for home.' she thought.
